Tanisha Jarrett-Hill, PhD

Tanisha Hill-Jarrett (PhD) is a neuropsychologist an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute of the University of California San Francisco. Her program of research has centered on understanding (1) the social determinants of racial/ethnic disparities in cognitive aging and (2) the effects of psychosocial stress on the cognitive functioning and cognitive trajectory of older Black adults. Her work applies an intersectional lens to understand the relationship between discrimination, psychological coping, and the cognitive functioning of older Black American women.
